Q2 : What are the features of WAC2200 and WAC2200-X ? What are the differences and commons in between them ?

A2 : When the phone rings, listen to car FM receiver for incoming call. You can answer the incoming call directly and immediately without using your both hands. Be sure to keep the main kit and car FM receiver have the same FM channel when receiving an incoming cellular phone call anytime.

 WAC2200 ( Standard Type )

When a channel is selected, the channel will keep in silence even there is no incoming call. In order not to bother your favorite program, we suggest you to choose an empty or seldom listening channel and preset it to be the dedicated incoming call channel. Listening to your favorite program as usual, switch it to your preset incoming call channel only when a call is received.

 WAC2200-X ( Channel Sharing Type )

Listen to your favorite program as usual and it will be replaced by an incoming call immediately when it is received. The channel will back to its original program when the phone conversation is over.

Q4 : Is AirDraco family really easy to install and operate?
A4 : You may refers to the following steps for installation and operation.

1. ( If WAC2200-X, goes to Step 4. ) Set up the #1 preset button of your car FM receiver as the dedicate cellular phone channel. ( Remember not to select your favorite channel. Just to scan a channel which is not your favorite one and with very weak receiving signal to be your candidate. A channel if its signal is not clear enough then it will be a potential candidate. ).Turn the Hands-free kit on to test if the candidate channel will be occupied or overwrite by the transmitted signal from the Kit..  

2. Set up all other preset buttons for your selected channels.

3. Scan and memorize all channels preset at Step 2 in your Hands-free kit.. Goes to Step 5.

4. Scan and memorize all preset channels of your car FM receiver in your Hands-free kit.

5. Set up your handset in auto answering status. ( Please refers to handset manual for detail. Some handsets has to be inserted with a earphone jack to have this feature available in advance. )

6. Put Level switch at its proper position. ( Please refers to last page of Users Manual. )

7. If something happened and how to solve it.

(1) If humming is heard when in the conversation :

It's possible that the car FM stereo is interfered by your handset. Find a proper place or location for your handset or move it to a new direction for improvement.

(2) If the caller's voice is too small, please adjust the handset volume to be louder.

(3) If the caller's voice is too loud to have echo or broken sound, please adjust the handset volume to be smaller.

(4) Can adjust volume of the car FM stereo for suitable loudness. It would rather to use handset for volume adjustment than to adjust the volume of car FM receiver itself.

(5) If some buzzwords from FM station are heard, please change to a new channel to prevent the interference from the strong station signal. 

(6) If the volume of your reply heard by the caller is too small or too loud or to have echo happened, please check if the Level switch is on the right position or to use an eternal microphone.

8. When install the kit, please make a local call for testing and follow the above suggestions to do the adjustment.

Q5 : How to answer an incoming call while in driving ?
A5 :

For WAC2200 : 

(1). If listening to the FM radio then press the preset button for answering the call. 

(2). If listening to CD or cassette then switch to FM radio and press the preset button for answering the call.

(3). If the FM radio, CD, and cassette are all turned off then turn the FM radio on and press the preset button for answering the call.

For WAC2200-X :

(1).  If listening to the FM radio then direct answer to the call.

(2). If listening to CD or cassette then switch to FM radio to answer the call directly.

(3). If the FM radio, CD, and cassette are all turned off then turn the FM radio on and answer the call directly.

Q6 : Shall I change LEVEL switch or tune a frequency every time when I use the kit?
A6 : No, that depends.
1. When use the same Main Kit Unit in the same car again, no frequency tuning is needed.
2. If a same model of handset is used then no need for the LEVEL adjustment.
3. When use the Main Kit Unit at different cars, you should check the preset channel and tune a new frequency if necessary.
4. When connect with a new handset, check LEVEL and switch it to the right one.

A7 : For WAC2200,  it is packed with a main kit unit, a voice collector cable, a power cord with cigarette lighter adapter, an external earphone cable, an magnetic handset holder ( option ), a safety clip, a Velcro, an illustrated users manual. A8 : Yes, it is.
