Q1 : What is Wave De-Activator & Plus for ?

A1 : Wave De-Activator WAC1000 and Wave De-Activator Plus WAC1300 are used to help those who need a tranquil and not disturbed environment. They will eliminate those unexpected, not welcomed or not allowed cellular phone rings and calls. When a Wave De-Activator & Plus is installed and turned on, no cellular phone services will happen to that specific area.

Q2 : How Wave De-Activator & Plus work ?
A2 : Wave De-Activator & Plus will emit a  very low power of signal to make the communication links not established in between cellular phone transmission stations and cellular phone handsets. It is low output power and will not harm to human health.

Q3 : Which cellular phone system services will be affected ?
A3 : All specified frequency bands provided by GSM, TDMA, CDMA, NMT , UMTS and pager no matter digital or analogue will be affected.  

No transmissions or receptions of cellular phone calls or paging in this area will be provided. Pager function is not included in current available models.

Q4 : What is the coverage area for an activated Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A4 : The coverage area is a sphere area centered at Wave De-Activator and with its effective distance as the radius. 

Q5 : What is the effective distance of Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A5 : The maximum effective distance is 12 to 15 meters ( that is around 50 feet ) in radius and maximum 24 to 50 meters ( that is around 100 feet ) in diameter for WAC1000. For WAC1300, it will have larger coverage area than what WAC1000 does.

The real maximum effective distance is varied place by place and carriers by carriers. Please do field test in advance to find out the maximum effective distance in your marketing area.

For some regions, due to the very strong radio station power output, the maximum distance may narrow down to 5 meters or even smaller. 

Q6 : Is the specific coverage area a solid sphere area ?
A6 : The coverage area will vary because of the block or separation of topography and obstacle in that area. It will have an ineffective spot area if an obstacle is blocked in front. It's just like a shadow where the Sun cannot project it with a direct sunshine.

Q7 : How to have a full and solid coverage area ?
A7 : You may install multiple units at different locations or positions to have more larger and wider coverage area if it is not an open space area. ( Refers to suggested place and position for installation. )

Q8 : If there any interference happened in the overlap area when multiple units are installed ?
A8 : No, the signal will not interfered each other in the overlap area. 

Q9 : How many units is needed for installation for a specified coverage area ?
A9 : It depends on the location, position, and the space. Please do field test in advance to decide how many units is needed.

Q10 : Where is the best place to install Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A10 : You may choose proper location and position, such as on the ceiling, wall or at the upper of entry. 

Q11 : How to have better performance in installing a Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A11 : Choose a proper location and position first and stretch antennas out.

Q12 : Does Wave De-Activator & Plus paralyze the frequency bands at the same time ?
A12 :  Yes, all built in frequency bands will do simultaneously and no matter which system carriers they are belonging to.

Q13 : Which model of Wave De-Activator & Plus  will be used for my market ?
A13 : There are several models of Wave De-Activator. Each model has its own frequency bands combination and is suitable for countries worldwide.

Q14 : Where Wave De-Activator & Plus will be used ?
A14 : Wave Shield is for use at meeting room, conference room, museum, gallery, theatre, concert hall, church, temple, mosque, restaurant, classroom, training center, factory, train, bus, bank, and where for any security purpose, and etc. Some special purpose of buildings such as hospital, gas station should do field test in advance to get rid of the possibility of irregular operations of medical instruments.

Q15 : Can Wave De-Activator & Plus be used at hospital  ?
A15 : As what we have suggested at Q14 and A14, you have better to do field test in advance to get rid of the unexpected possibility.

We have installed Wave De-Activator in the ICU recovery room of national  university hospital here to get rid of the interference from visitor's cellular phone calls.  

Q16 : Can Wave De-Activator & Plus be used at vehicle or train  ?
A16 : Yes, we have a vehicle type which can be connected with a vehicle cigarette lighter adapter to the power socket with input voltage from 9VDC to 24VDC to be used in vehicle or in train. When you order, please specify the type.

Q17 : How to operate a Wave De-Activator ?
A17 : Turn on the power on/off switch, stretch out whole antenna. There is no adjustment needed.

Q18 : What is the specification of Wave De-Activator ?
A18 : The reference specification is as followings.
1. Operating current : 100 - 150mA.
2. Output power : 10 to 20 dbm ( max. ) for each frequency band
3. Input : 12 VDC, 500mA.

Q19 : Are there any uncertain phenomenon may happen to Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A19 : In case of the characteristics of electromagnetic wave and locations or positions installed, cellular phone calls may not be well paralyzed especially at some places where repeaters or cellular phone radio transmission stations nearby is possible. The effective distance may be shorter at some locations.

Q20 : Are there any restrictions or warning for using Wave De-Activator & Plus ?
A20 : Wave De-Activator must be installed indoors or inside construction, which is owned or managed by the person who is responsible for the installation. Install at other places is not recommended. Please refers to your local regulations to avoid the misuse of Wave De-Activator & Plus.
